Project Design

This project was designed to enhance the natural beauty of the vineyard while providing essential resources for local pollinators. In partnership with the Xerces Society, Ramona Ranch provided 100 native plants from the Xerces Pollinator Habitat Kit, specifically curated to benefit pollinators like bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects crucial to the health of agricultural lands.

Installation

Invasive plant species were eradicated, ensuring the native flora had room to thrive without competition.

A drip irrigation system was installed to provide efficient and sustainable watering, minimizing water waste while keeping the plants healthy.

The soil was further enriched with Remedi mulch, which helps retain moisture, suppress weeds, and improve soil stability.

Native seeds were also incorporated to compete with invasive seeds and ensure long-term sustainability of the habitat.

Brymal Plants continues LandFirst™ Management ensuring that the garden establishes properly and remains vibrant and effective in supporting the winery's eco-friendly operations.
