Epilobium ciliatum, commonly known as Fringed Willowherb or Northern Willowherb, is a perennial herbaceous plant native to North America. It belongs to the Onagraceae family and is characterized by its upright stems, reaching heights of up to 3 feet, and lance-shaped leaves with finely toothed margins. The plant produces clusters of delicate pink to purple flowers with fringed petals, arranged along the stems in terminal racemes. Fringed Willowherb typically blooms from late spring to early summer, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies with its nectar-rich flowers.
