Suaeda nigra, commonly known as Bush Seepweed, is a salt-tolerant, shrubby perennial native to saline and alkaline environments across the western United States and northern Mexico. It grows up to 3 feet tall, with slender, fleshy green leaves that often turn reddish in the fall. Adapted to thrive in challenging soils, Bush Seepweed is well-suited for salt flats, marshes, and arid landscapes, where it contributes to soil stabilization and ecological health.
