A low-growing, evergreen perennial in the mint family (Lamiaceae), Salvia rosmarinus 'Prostratus' is a trailing form of rosemary. Native to the Mediterranean region, it features needle-like, aromatic green foliage and delicate pale blue flowers that bloom in spring and intermittently throughout the year. This creeping variety grows 6 to 12 inches tall and can spread 4 to 6 feet, making it ideal for ground cover, cascading over walls, or spilling from containers.
